I've had a Line 6 Spider HD100 for over 10 years now. No pedals needed, ever. You just plug in and play all day. You don't need a room full of different heads, cabinets, mics, and pedals with Line 6, all you need is your favorite guitar, or 20 favorite guitars, lol. Every guitar player friend of mine who's played it has gone out and bought one or wants one. I'm buying this so I can have a small amp in my office instead of pushing a giant stack from room to room. I've been playing since 1992 and I've owned every type of amp, from 1960s Marshall Plexis, to the 5150 head and combo, every type of Peavey head from the 1970s (I still love my Peavey Standard head with a distortion pedal), a bunch of Fenders and a gaggle of Crates (the Blue Voodoo head with the handwritten script was amazing!!) but no amp touches my Line 6. I found this Line 6 Spider V 30 on Amazon for $219 with free shipping/returns...how can you go wrong? A full studio full of tones for under $220? Sign me up!!

The best demo of this amp yet. Probably because he knows how to dial in good tones. It is fantastic for what it is.

Excellent demo.Unlike the other poster I didn't think it was fizzy at all. A perfectly good alternative to the Katana.

Great demo. Saw one of these today at Guitar Center. Needed to see more, so here I am. Not disappointed.

I got this at Christmas and there are so many options and settings. I've spent hours going through them and I've only touched a fraction of what's available.

You can turn off the TAP button light. Just hold the Home button a couple of seconds and you can choose if you want to turn it off or on.

Dude .... you are such a fantastic guitar player. You make this amp sound like the best thing ever and I am going to buy one but it’s all because of your demo! Thanks dude! Excellent chops!

Great demo...it's a shame people blast it based on misconception : Line 6 didn't develop this as an onstage metal/rock machine. It's made primarily for practicing and the built in drums/metronome are ideal. I've got n Axe/FX, Line 6 Helix, and an old Digitech GSP1101... this little amp is awesome for it's purpose!

I got the MK 2 Line 6 a few years ago you really don't need a lot of pedals with the amount of sound settings in it it's a great AMP with plenty to keep you going with different types of music genres for everyone.

Geez, I'm shocked most reviews have very little actual Effects Demo'd .. I'm not even looking for a pristine sounding Amp, just good budget n features, this kicks Ass and I'm getting one! (240W 2x12)👀, thanks Man👍

Worst thing about this amp is the power off button on the backside . And the fact you have to elevate it, to play with the dial knobs, to get your favorite tone setting …. But it works great !

i don't know why some people call that as a suck amp compare to katana or vypyr. is there something's wrong with your ears? Line Spider V >Katana and vypyr

Fender and Line 6 like to use clever titles for their patches. For instance, Fender has a patch called "Pasadena Phaser" which is (surprise, surprise) an early Edward Van Halen guitar sound. I am guessing "Arachnid Rhythm" is a nod to the sound of Bowie's "Ziggy Stardust" recording. The tone is unmistakable.
