see this hadith,
“The time for Zuhr is from when the sun has passed its zenith and a man’s shadow is equal in length to his height, until the time for ‘Asr comes. The time for ‘Asr lasts until the sun turns yellow. The time for Maghrib lasts until the twilight has faded. The time for ‘Isha’ lasts until midnight. The time for Subh (Fajr) prayer lasts from the beginning of the pre-dawn so long as the sun has not yet started to rise. When the sun starts to rise then stop praying, for it rises between the two horns of the Shaytaan.” (Narrated by Muslim, 612 Book of Masjids and places of Prayer).

As salaamu 'alaykum. I don't remember ever hearing that 'Asr ends at halfway between entrance of 'Asr and Maghrib and that ishaa ends when 1/3 of the night has passed? Can you share the sources?

In the audio Ustadh Musa mentioned that you should pray 'Asr before sun yellows etc and that it ends at sunset (we have to pray 'asr before sun yellowing or else we are sinning, but prayer is valid if you do pray after sun yellows up until sunset). I didn't hear Ustadh Musa mention it ends halfway between entrance of 'Asr and maghrib akhi when speaking about 'Asr.

Also where did you see that Ishaa ends when 1/3 of the night passed?
