I have found pixothello to be a pretty good free alternative to pyxel edit. Definitely not a replacement though.

Dont know why these new pixel arts forcefully add saturated blues and purples and shit to everything, if you look at any of the real og artists from metal slug etc, this was never the case . This shit just looks weird and forced just to add variation to the pallet even though it has no place in the drawing

It's frustrating now, I am tired of searching for pixel art tutorials, I fucking hate these timelapses, I want to fucking learn, every damn tutorial is showing the basics, I want to make detailed pixel art, I can't even draw clouds, fuck, why don't these talented people teach rather than show off
