*ATTENTION* These "audiophile" playlist all over YouTube are full of great music and sound pretty good BUT they are NOT hi-res or audiophile quality. YouTube audio maxes out at either 128kbps/44.1khz AAC or most common 160kbps/48khz Opus 251. Most of these playlist are high quality uploads to YouTube but they will be converted and compressed before playback. They do sound nice because Opus 251 is a great codec but not hi-res by any stretch. A standard CD can be up to 1141kbps/44.1khz, potentially much better. Manufactures have miss represented hi-res audio to leverage it as a selling point. In reality there isn't a system on the planet that can reproduce more than 20 or 21 bit audio and 99% of listeners don't have gear that can actually reproduce hi-res or 24bit audio. Its OK these playlists aren't "audiophile" quality, goes to show codecs and compressed audio is getting better and can be very good at convincing most people. Also setting your DAC or Windows audio to 24/192 doesn't auto-magically make all you music hi-res or 24bit. It may sound different and that may seem better to your ears but its not that simple or cheap to properly up-sample audio especially if its YouTube quality. The reason all these playlists sound good is because the initial recording and mastering not because of some ridiculously hi sampling rate.

I just spend $85, 324 on some oxygen free metaloid mu metal shielded fiber optic cables, my trained 65 year old ear can hear all the difference, the depth, the roominess, the colors, the stage and all the encabulator resonance comes out, a true pleasure to listen on my custom made 4200lb african Ivory multi transducer speakers.

Listening to this in 2024 with my 2 pairs of Denon x Mission bookshelf speakers combined with an AVS Sub 8 Cerwin Vega and a standard amplifier feels good.

Man....I just jammed this through my main rig, Moon 350P Dac/preamp, Bryston 14B, B&W Nautilus 802's and a JL E112 Sub- As others had said, even through youtube it sounded great. Fantastic collage of instruments and genres' . The drum solo between 4min and 10 was killer!

Great bass and highs ..no fancy speakers like allways shown...just have 4 Bose 901 with 2 Denon pre and power amps..they have the best surround sound I can imagine. THX for the great music.

I have to say, listening to this in the audiophile system in my car, even while streaming on YouTube, this sounds AMAZING. The presence, clarity, warmth, imaging and soundstage is PHENOMENAL. Can I order this on CD?

YouTube does compress the sound but it's still very highly clear, sharp...perfect. I can only imagine then what it sounds before it's for uploading 🖒❤

Used to test my nearly 50 year old Kenwood and Bose speakers. I had an intermittent, occasional issue and the wide range of this plus THX sound effects really helped me find my issue.
I used to be a QC tech for a company that fixed and refurbished Pioneer and Sony department store systems and Dennon & Marantz components. I had O scope, nice DVOM for checking grounds and resistors, full ISO work environment with ESD procedures for disassembled units and the one thing I miss the most is having access to Dolby, THX, and manufacturer demo media for fullrange testing.

I use a Beyerdynamic DT 880, 600 ohms, superb sound quality and a big thank you for your work
