Football changed really, coaches get tipped to be sacked almost immediately they have a bad run.

I think we need to see the bigger picture.
Players like Van de Ven, Romero, Vicario, Bentancur and Dragusin are injured, meaning that Tottenham’s defence is now significantly weaker with no proper support in the centre back positions or goalkeeper role. Forster (as a keeper) is reaching the end of his career, meaning he’s more likely to make more costly errors than a keeper like Guglielmo, who’s extraordinarily dedicated to his involvement in the team. Romero and Van de Ven are incredible too, Cristian’s majorly consistent performances led him to becoming a world champion and Micky has pace to pressure opponents and even charge at the net as seen in the Everton and United games in the Premier League.

Come to think of it, if there’s anyone to blame for Tottenham’s inconsistency and lack of titles, it’s Daniel Levy and ENIC. Conte was spot on. Levy’s leadership meant that Spurs didn’t mentally charge for titles. Prior to his arrival, Tottenham indeed had trophies, including 8 FA Cups, 3 Carabao Cups, 3 European Cups (including winning the first Europa League title when called the UEFA Cup) and 7 Community Shields. Since he bought the club from Lord Alan Sugar in 2001… 1 Carabao Cup, an Audi Cup, and even came 3rd in a 2 horse race for the league, against Leicester City.

Yet, we cannot criticise the managers really. Tottenham have had managers such as Pochettino, Mourinho, Conte and Nuno (with the latter bringing Forest into 3rd at the time of commenting). They have had some massive managers coach them, but Levy’s lack of support didn’t allow them to buy or intrigue any players with world class ability or a desire to win a trophy. That’s why players such as Modric, Bale, Eriksen and Kane left. Modric and Bale dominated Spain and Europe, with 11 UCLs together (6 for Luka and 5 for Gareth), Eriksen won Serie A, the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup with Inter Milan and Manchester United respectively, and Kane could be on course to finally win the league with Bayern.

To conclude, do I think it’s Ange’s fault that Spurs are in a bad place? Not really. Levy needs to break his bank in January to get Tottenham the success it needs. Because if he fails to do so, Ange could be jobless and there’ll be a lot of fans who want him gone, though many already do. And if that happens, he should resign and give the club to an owner committed to the aspect of club success, not just the financial stability.

Tottenham will get through it but Ange might not. Injuries are part of football but not doing anything to adjust how you play to help the players you put out, playing the same way regardless, will get him sacked in the end. At this level, it just doesn’t work. Let’s not forget, he was about 5th choice for the job and apart from the first part of last season, he was found out tactically very quickly and we’ve gone backwards ever since. Only a cup win keeps him in a job for next season I fear.

I know the ideal replacement for Ange. Get Levy in that dugout. At least then he can finally sack himself.

As a Spurs fan, the state of these Spurs fans calling for Ange to be sacked is embarrassing.

We're the top scoring team in the league, we're playing enterprising, attacking football. Yea we're conceding a lot but virtually our entire first choice defence is out injured, and the players we do have are knackered as we haven't been able to rotate during the busiest period of the season. These fans castigating Ange for not having a Plan B are exactly the same fans who were whining about us being too pragmatic and not scoring enough goals under Conte - would love to know what this Plan B is that they're referring to.

Also those saying it's Ange's fault that these players are getting injured are clueless - if anything it's the Sports Science and Recruitment department's fault, it's their job to tell him whether these players are fit/injury prone. These players are professional athletes that get paid tens of thousands a week, if they can't run hard without getting injured then someone hasn't done their due diligence on them before they were signed.

All of this ultimately comes down to Levy - he's the guy responsible for how the club operates in terms of supporting the manager and the players, he's the guy responsible for our recruitment strategy, he's the guy who has decided on having a wage structure that only allows us to sign B-list players.

Ange himself said as much about the academy - that he was shocked at how it was set up and that it needed an overhaul. I'm sure he feels like the same way about virtually every other aspect of the Spurs backroom.

We may not be getting results at the moment, but what we've got is a manager with a vision that's compatible with the essence of the club, with a track record of success. Yes we've been waiting a long time for silverware but that is not the managers fault. He said when he was first hired that this was a long term rebuild and success won't come overnight. I think we all need to take a deep breath, stop being so emotional and have a bit more patience.

Sky sports are so shameful. They always love to put the pressure on. Always love to get things rattled. They have been a big part of the reason that Poch, Mourinho, and Conte were all sacked, and they're about to do it to Ange too. They forget the crisis Spurs are in (almost purposefully) so they can keep putting the pressure on. Sky sports disgusts me.

He played half fit Romero and van de ven. Shocking from Ange. That system he employs relies on a quick defence and he’s got no defenders.

Consider that other clubs had not seen Ange ball EPL style. After the first round of fixtures, they figured it out. If you want to play heavy metal football, then you need to have durable bodies and a lot of them. It's not like the Scottish Leahue where there are Celtic, Rangers and then everyone else. There very few games to rest your starters.

Lose to wolves and Newcastle, which is very likely on current form then it’s goodbye I’m afraid

In Ange's defense they've gained ground on Man City. Also, they had to play NFFC, which is like a "free hit" for a team like Tottenham

Ange Postecoglou's calm and composed mindset is exactly what Tottenham needs right now. It's tough, but his belief in the process is encouraging. Hopefully, the team can turn things around and find some consistency soon. The road may be bumpy, but with his leadership, there's still plenty of reason for optimism!

(Personally I think Totemham might win the League cup because it’s about time but knowing them they will just Tottenham it again lol)

Work on your defence ffs we are way to open be more pragmatic in games, its not hard to see we are way to easy to play against. I want ange to succeed but he has to change his ways or he will be gone. COYS

Ange is so hot right now. lol. Sky Sport pundits are always saying how managers don't get enough time yet have a smile on their face when a manager gets sacked. The world of drama is in full flow.

The injuries are a direct result of the way Ange wants to play so he is responsible

But as a manager you work with what you got and his way of playing will bring injuries but i think it doesn't matter because we're up down anyway just seems to be a long process

Levy is looking for investors in Spurs.
Not interested in the team. He wants investors to put money into the team. Nothing will change until then.
