New VERY Important Samsung Update for Millions of Galaxy Phones - Set This Correctly!

New Samsung update is out for millions of galaxy phones with critical maximum security update that you will need to configure properly to maintain usual USB related operations.

I ran this update on my S24 Ultra and a Windows 11 Laptop. It works with millions of other galaxy phones including One UI 6.1.1, 6.1, 6.0, 5.0, etc.

the update doesn't appear in the software update, it's still October 1st security patch level.

I found out about it when I plugged it into my car. I figured it out and fixed it. But glad there is videos out there to help others.

By the way, when maximum restriction mode is turned on, when you try to send media from your gallery to a social media app, it will send in "BIN" file type. You need to send media from inside the social media app or turn off maximum restrictions.

I have that in Security and Privacy and I'm on the October patch. And yes there's the maximum restriction option too. If yo do activate the maximum option, to turn it off you have to use your FP or PIN. BTW mine is an S23 Ultra BUT never hurts to be reminded....thanks Saki

on my
s23 ultra there is no Maximum Restrictions available with auto blocker turned on. it shows on your phone with it on

Would you recommend antivirus software? Those require device admin that the max setting in that feature will affect along with call Samsung supported call management app I use😊

It's not on the z-fold 6 it just has October 1 patch that's been updated...

I can't toggle it ON nor interact with the feature anymore 🤷
