Now, if they would always present single item bills everytime, perhaps these politicos would read them before voting and everyone would have them on record as to how they vote. No more pork package bills.

i feel like 80% of americans feel the same way. access to contraception, safe access to abortion until end of 1st trimester, and late-term abortions banned.

seems like the 10% on either end that want full bans or full access to abortion up until and including birth are the ones causing all the problems...

anyone else feel the same?

edit: i guess i should clarify that i think an exception should be made if the mother's life is at risk

I could care less whether you want to abort or not. This is still a private matter between you and your doctor. When did medical information become a subject for discussion and disclosure?

There is no Constitutional right to abortion, it goes to the States, its not banning abortions

This was never about abortions, it's about power and control.

They never say "your Constitutional right" to keep and bear arms

This country will stay divided as long as it is made up of 50 states and 50 different cultures and religions running them all.

For everyone who thinks abortion will be illegal after this are misinformed, the overturn puts the decision back into the states hands which allows the people who actually want abortion still have abortion legal and the people who don't want it either have stricter restrictions or ban it all together. This is the federal court basically saying "this is a state issue and the federal government doesn't have a say in this matter"

I love how they started to stir this all up to get our minds off all our money disappearing. Misdirection.

"Constitutional right?" Must Have missed that Amendment.

It's not a "god given right" or a "constitutional right". That's absurd for anyone to suggest that. I've heard people use that same argument about unvetted people crossing our borders illegally. They don't have a "right" to ignore our borders and our laws.

"Overturning the Constitutional right to an abortion."
CBS must be reading a different Constitution than the one I've read.

Why did CBS call abortion access a “Constitutional Right” immediately after reporting that the Supreme Court said it’s not? Who defines what a Constitutional Right is; The Supreme Court of the United States, or the media?

I won't make you have an abortion, and you won't make me have a baby. Even though I think abortion is sad and awful, it's not my choice to make unless it's my pregnancy.

sucks when senators start voting without realizing they are supposed to rep. the people's opinion, not their own
