As someone who cooked for a living, and cooks a lot; I absolutely love this site and how snappy it is.
Not a programmer by any stretch, but now I kind of wonder how to implement something like this with the info in the book "The Flavor Bible" which basically acts as a pure ingredient thesaurus. Find an ingredient, and it gives a full list of common pairings, along with what styles it's commonly associated with, along with preferred cooking methods. It's a really useful tool for when you open the cupboard and go "What the hell am I gonna do with this cardamom I bought for that one recipe!?"

Or hell, some form of integrating both a massive recipe library along with the ingredient info to basically make a one-stop shop for all your cooking needs.

suggestion; make a little bash script that optimizes all images by compressing, downscaling, converting to .webP etc...
it should be possible to go from 1MB to 30-200kb while still preserving quality.
