Anbernic RG552 will not charge

Anbernic RG552 shows orange flashing light when trying to charge and will not switch on.

Mine came today through Amazon with the same exact issue. Opened the box and plugged it in and it's got the blinking orange light which means battery damage. For 230$ I expected better.

just got mine the other day ordered from the anbernic store on aliexpress. the device wouldn't power on so tried my anker multiport charger which btw works for all my dozen++ other chinese/korean devices except for the rg552 which was giving the orange flashing light. when trying the cable & charger that was included in the rg522 box the device immediately powered on when i plugged it in which i then shutdown, and after charging, works properly. don't doubt some customers were delivered faulty/brick devices but i don't believe theres a huge battery issue with the rg552 like some make it out to sound like xbox 360 red ring of death (referring to messageboard posts)

are you using the orginal charger? because i had same issue and as soon i connected to original charger everything was back to normal

Using the original charger worked for me. I had tried others including a 20 watt one that didn’t work. Odd. I’ve labeled the original charger now.

Try the other port there are 2 typ-c try other one it happened to me.

I have the same problem... do you fix it?
