If anything is presented by making a high quality video/presentation, then how much interesting it becomes

I've been in the construction industry for more years than I care to admit and I have seen my share of repairs and all I can say is NICE WORK!

Such a coincidence to see Josh, he’s local to me. A couple of years ago he repaired my carpet flawlessly

I was at work two days thinking to myself how they could possibly repair the rug so well. Nothing was said out loud and yet this video joins my recommended. This is either a simulation or the algorithm can read your mind.

Patch with a new piece, revolutionary!

I thought we were going to see him weave and dye a replacement patch.

I was a carpet guy for ages. Showed up to repair a 'burn hole'. The hole was the shape of a clothes iron, through the carpet, though the pad, and the plywood floor was scorched. It seems the family was going on a road trip and as they were about to reverse out the driveway Dad remembered his sunglasses. Ran back in the house, smelled smoke, and found the iron. Dad told me the last thing the three year old did before getting in the car was plugging in the iron and putting it on the floor. If Dad hadn't run in for his sunglasses the house would have burned down. I cut out the burn hole and suggested he save that burned scrap for a few years until Jr asks to borrow the car for the first time....

Reality : "I'm sorry sir, we don't have this type of fabric".

I just realized this is like the architectural version of getting a skin graft.

I'm a recovering carpet installer. This guy is good. I have done some tough repairs over the years and I'd much rather install a new piece rather than patch some of the gross, nasty, slimy damaged carpets that I've seen in my day.

Don't worry, he got the hole thing covered.

I'm impressed by him having so many carpets in his truck...how many are there to be prepared for all his jobs???

Is it just me, or is this the most satisfying thing ever??

It’s so refreshing to see someone repairing something instead of just throwing it away and getting a new one!.

When I accidentally murdered my wife for the insurance money, this is the guy I called. He also told me, replacing the whole carpet would raise suspicions.

I know how to fix that, just put furniture over it and voilà, you're done!

Moral of the story

Always keep some extra carpet whenever you get the entire house done

Thank me later 😂😂

Man I thought it was some complex process but they just slap some glue on it and jam it into the floor. Basically what I do when I'm working on my costume.

"How professionals fix carpet"

>replace broken part of carpet with same carpet

Wow I would've never guessed.

My late friend did this and furniture repairs. He would resew the new strends into a new backer. Melt the patch in, then trim it to length with this crazy suck-cut machine that looked like a belt sander. Was amazed how good it looked when finished. For furniture arms. He would take the whole thing apart by unstitching the fabric. Use cardboard and foam to beef up the armrest then restitched it. Sometime he would take the fabric off the back of the chair and use it to replace the old worn fabric. So cool watching him.
