It's always nice when a video guide gives you exactly what you are looking for right away.

Just realised after weeks of trying, your camera needs to be level with the spring arm because its the spring arm that bounces off of the object/wall, so if you set your camera up right and still have it a meter behind the spring arm, it will always go a meter beyond the object/wall, ive had charmander and chameleon running sweet and then charizard just completely f**ked it up 😂

Wow. Thank you! Very simple yet useful trick, I had no idea about it. (Tried to make a sphere collision for the camera, haha). I love your channel & your tutorials. Thank you again, it's an incredible job.

THANKS! I was using SetRelativeTransform with Y=50 on the camera object to get a shoulder view, and I was getting the clip to through wall issue, but thanks to your video now its fixed! I use Set Socket Offet on the Spring Arm (CameraBoom).

Nice video. As always great tutorial. 👍 How would one get rid of the clipping with player that happens when back is to wall and in close proximity. Is there a work around for this?

I didn't see what you did to fix it, and I watched this like 100 times. Are you saying that if your camera is on a camera boom, and then you reset it, then it should just work?

How do you also stop it from clipping through the character as well like it did in this video?

I have a locked camera that is above and behind a vehicle but if I move the vehicle too close to this tunnel wall I'm driving through it clips through it even with this setup. Is there something I'm missing? Your video is the only one I've seen on YouTube that even mentions this issue.
