Her technique was totally wrong ! She did not wear a pair of gloves when she was drawing the vaccine from the vial and when she gave the injection. She did not wipe the old lady’s arm with an alcohol swab BEFORE injecting the vaccine and she should had not wiped the area AFTER vaccinating. She should have held the site with a gauze after injection not wipe it repeatedly with the alcohol swab . She should have had a band aid readily available immediately after vaccinating the old lady . I am a nurse for 30 years and gives out injections all the time here in the USA.
