1978. My girlfriend and I were traveling in the dark on my motorcycle heading towards Bury St Edmunds (about 6 miles away). Suddenly it was like daylight for less than a second, yet lit up the countryside in all directions. I stopped immediately and said 'did you see that'? She said yes. Didn't they recently test antimatter to see how it reacts In Gravity and it ended up working the same as normal matter down is down?

Missiles explode harmlessly in the past? Are they able to pinpoint where and when they go? Otherwise wouldn’t the grandfather paradox come into play? Seems like even if they exploded in the North Pole in the past, there could still be ramifications that might change the present. Speaking as a complete lay person who has only watched sci fi movies but that doesn’t seem entirely harmless to me.

If you throw back in time a nuke weapon, even to the North Pole, you risk changing the future in an unknown way, that could be catastrophic for us today. I can't see anyone even contemplating doing it, it could mean they never existed to be able to carry out the plan.
No time travel to the past...

Thank you Professor Simon, James, and John. I would like to greatly thank you all for altering the production style of the series starting with this video. The change in the clarity of the audio is a phenomenal improvement as the previous episodes relied heavily upon vocal distortion and delay, which while stylistically interesting may be inappropriate for some genres of production. It didn't seem to compliment a documentary as well as intended, which may or may not have affected viewer-ship. Sometimes, less is more.

Thank you so much for this episode professor Simon! It answers my question if John knew if it was ours or something else. Now theres even more highly strange things to wonder about. I want to know more about the time warp and the missiles! Highly strange indeed! You mentioned NASA was experimenting with gravitational worm holes. I know NASA was investigating or experimenting with "gravitational anomalies " in Utah.

I was finally able to start understanding gravity and its relationship to time when I saw the episode of DOCTOR WHO “World Enough & Time” (first episode of a 2-episode Mondasian Cyberman story) …and how an extremely long and large spaceship parked at a black hole would have time passing decades and centuries on one end of it while the other end would have only had minutes or hours pass by …all on the same vessel right there at the black hole. I was finally able to grasp time as an invisible fabric and how gravity could manipulate the fabric. It always went over my head until DOCTOR WHO did that story.

I just learned about the Dorothy Eady case, was born at Blackheath. An area that would be zapped by the Cobra mist of the 1970's in the future. She was born in 1904 but her memories were from 2200 BC in Egypt 😱
