I've been dragging my feet in responding to this because I might be at-fault.

I have a cotton CubaVera shirt made in India (if that matters) which became stained some months ago after I leaned forward on my bathroom sink. The light blue color is now stained in two places by a mysterious white.

I sprayed the vinegar/H20 mixture. Then, which you didn't advise, I placed it in cold laundry w/my Tide.

The white stain remains. And I nearly loved this summer shirt! Being old-school I hesitate to blame someone (you) whom I have not even met! Nonetheless, I know not what to do. The shirt isn't ruined. And I will feel embarrassed to wear it.
