True professional. Always shows up. Every runner loses. All the greats lost. Morceli, Cram, Coe, Ovett, El Girouj and Aouita all got beat. It's the way Jakob races after his losses. He never has 2 bad races in a row.

People think Jakob is cocky and arrogant, but I think it was obvious in the press conference before this meet that he is the better person compared to Kerr. When asked about each others strengths Kerr took the opportunity to try to shit on Jakob while Jakob answered the question respectfully. Happy it was Nuguse who was in front on the line and not Kerr. Nuguse seems like a great guy and deserves all the success that is coming for him.

Imagine how fast Jakob can run when he’s 100% and weather cooperates. Nice to see Yared elevate his game. Sucks being under the weather. Stay healthy. Not to be a germaphobe, but Wash hands with soap & warm water at every opportunity. Take selfies, pose for pictures, sign autographs but no shaking hands or even high fives.
As fans, we love seeing all of the top dogs competing against each other. Greatest and most exciting time in middle distance history at least since Era. Thank you to all the participants.

Funny how people don't like Jakob answering questions honestly.

Jakob is such a wonderful person. Jakob, thank you for all you do. I enjoy being your personality fan and race fan. I really enjoyed watching you win the gold medal in the 1500 meters at the 2021 olympics.

The 1500 is the main race where Jakob is vulnerable. I believe his range is so great that he can break world records not only in this distance but even up to the marathon.

I seem to like and respect Jacob much better now. He was a bit arrogant but believe it or not I think he’s become a better runner after losing a few races. He’s come back and had incredible races and he seems to congratulate and rejoice more with the other runners. I like the new Jacob!😎🙌

3:14 "I really enjoyed the competition even though kind of sucks not being, you know, feeling 100% but still it's just good enough that I was able to participate, and still beating a lot of runners who call themself ah... yeah." 😂😂😂

The 1500 world Record will be his before this time next year. And then he will move onto the 5K and 10k world records. It’s like he said it’s always him against the next guy. Kerrs Best days are behind him. Hocker Got lucky and ran smart. But no one is as consistent. Happy for Yared. USA!

He says he was feeling good enough to participate then he ends up 2nd lol jokes aside, it seems smart for him to often race 1500 to figure it out completely. He is still young and he can sound arrogant at times but I still cheer for him to get his goal of a WR across all disciplines. It will be very interesting to watch him move to longer distances and roads in the future.

Just some slightly tired legs, he races a lot compared to the other elites.

I think he should be happy that he's in a great era of milers, and they're all still pretty young. 👍

Similar to Noah Lyles ‘s 200 m loss in Paris . He lost to Nuguse, Kerr and Hocker in Paris already in same distance .

Only 1st is acceptable to Jacob, but when he does not get 1st he does know exactly why and how to get it.

jakob is fine, 2nd place is great for a person who races as often as him
