I personally think every human being should get an hour a day to take a nap. The world would be a much more peaceful place if everyone were properly rested. I’m self employed now and I don’t nap every day, but on days when I’m tired, I take an hour. I think it should be a basic human right, personally.

when i used to teach, i would keep a blanket and pillow and a yoga mat for days i needed to nap! .. i wish i had thought of a recliner!!! ❤

I taught school for 25 years. I would turn my lights out and lock the door to sleep under my desk. Not every day, but on those hard ones.

Yes we need naps at school where i go because all of the teachers and students the teachers wake up at 5in the morning and students wake up at 6 AM

As a past student who was lucky enough to go to a high school that allowed us to sleep whenever we needed to, I believe that the teacher's should have been able to take a nap whenever they could if possible

What’s annoying is teachers in middle school and high school are constantly shaming kids for also being tired but they get a total of two hours of the school day child free EVERY DAY. We get no breaks. It’s get up, go to school, go to work, get home late, try to get homework done. Fall asleep at an unreasonable hour, then repeat.

Amazing how teachers there can wear comfortable clothes at looks like they’re just lounging at home. Teachers here have to wear uniforms and dress formally regardless of what level they are teaching.
