The starting point is pretty important as well. I'm in the Midwestern US, so I'd still have to fly to Denmark. I'm sure that's not cheap either. But I would love to visit Greenland someday❤

Not for much longer!!
The floodgates are going to open. They are building a brand new runway and terminal facilities at Nuuk. Now international air travel will be possible directly from the UK and the US. It will become a stop over for some flights that traditionally are at quieter times in order to fill planes. It's the same with split rail tickets in the UK they are cheaper. It will be so exciting to see jet airliners landing. The only downsides will be the noise and pollution. But that's the trade off for the economy.

I’m from Ireland. And for years it was super expensive to go to the Uk or mainland Europe. When I was younger, everyone used to get the ferry to wales then take 9 hour coach to London.
Then along came Irish airline Ryanair, and now flights are much cheaper. You really need Ryanair to start doing flights. Then the other airlines start spring their prices to match
