The Act is an American true crime anthology drama web television series that premiered on March 20, 2019, on Hulu. The series is based on the real life of Gypsy Rose Blanchard and the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, who was accused of abusing her daughter by fabricating illness and disabilities as a direct consequence of Munchausen syndrome by proxy. This is horrific, why have a daughter if your going to treat her this way. Sick. Thus may sound like a bad thing to say but maybe her mum's death was her only escape.

Okay people are saying why did her mom do this it’s because her mom just wants attention so she had a divorce so her dad can’t tell plus Gypsy felt trapped so the real Gypsy today is a free girl I’m happy for her put violence wasn’t the right thing people say but if I was in her position I would personally do the same when it comes to my freedom I would say what goes in my head

i really like the fact that she was shaving her head bald, i think it's just better for both girls and boys to not care much about their haircut so the head shaving is the best option and it also looks so much better when it's all off, but i saw the movie and almost every other thing that she did to her was awful besides the headshave and that she made the dentist pull all of her teeth out and got her fake ones, just looked better and it's better to not have teeth so you can just remove and put on the fake ones. those are the thing i would do to my daughter but the movie is just awful
