I went to a bar last night and saw my friends playing 4 players on a big screen. I got to play and it was fun and competitive. The fun factor is the most important factor in a purchase for me.

As someone who has played many of these games through emulation but rarely sat down to fully experience them, this has been a fantastic experience. I really enjoy constantly trying to get a better rank and being thrown into parts of the game I never experienced before. I was born in '98, so maybe this is just my perspective as a 26-year-old, but I'm having a lot of fun. I bought the deluxe edition, and it's awesome having all the extras it comes with.

huge let down for me is that it doesn't have the full games available. yeah, it's about championship and tiny challenges, but having a bunch of classic NES games on cartridge would be a blast

Honestly being part of history is good enough for me. The fact that it's $30 for the content in this game and it's officially world championship edition and not NES remix, means that they really care about their legacy. I am not a fan of online play anyway so that really doesn't deter me from buying this or keeping this. I do see how people really like that. I hope it's in a future update patch for those who care, as for me, i already bought it and really enjoy it
