I believe that Russian general mobilization will be a matter of concern for Ukraine. Russia has enough small arms and equipment, but military clothing manufacturing may not be able to scale up to meet demand. This may require the creation of simplified uniforms or the outsourcing of military uniforms to South America.

It will be will be difficult to find enough body armor for all troops. This is typically a high cost item that is individually fitted to each soldier, so only some front-line units may get body armor.

Ukraine currently has a more experienced army. This is a problem because an untrained soldier eats as much as a trained soldier, but is a half or a quarter as effective. However, soldiers that survive their initial encounters with the Ukrainian Army will eventually gain experience and can be counted on to lead the next group of trainees.

It’s so sad that bodies are so much easier to get, than the supplies to clothe and protect those bodies.

The families of dead conscripts will complain a lot louder than families of volunteers, including contract soldiers.

“How long is training?”
“Training is on-job.”
“Does training include performance review?”
“If you make it one month, you get paid.”

Saw that Russia is starting to put up billboards saying that they should get Alaska back in war reparations because of the sanctions the west put on them, the best part is the Governor of Alaska essentially responded with "Good luck" 😂

I remember all those videos years ago of Russian soldiers basically being super scary alpha juggernauts and we were supposed to be very afraid of going to war with them. The war with Ukraine basically showed that the Russian military is more show than might.

It’s been over 4 months since this video and the bulk of these reserves have not been deployed they have been training in Belarus and Russia. They now are positioning them selves all around Ukraine on jumping of points for the potential spring offensive. These troops have had a decent amount of time to train and should be underestimated.

Documents say they will have 2 weeks of training and off they go

I think the most serious problem for Russia here is that it's going to exacerbate the their already low general morale.

BIG BIG POINT: These guys are stepping in right as winter arrives. Just another shortcoming that will lead to severe morale problems, fighting with frostbite, and surrender to Ukraine will be an obvious upgrade. (Anyone seen the conscript helmet? It's a Sara Lee pie 🥧 pan with a camo cover.)

The damage this will do to the Russian economy( taking hundreds of thousands of young men from the workforce) could be more damaging than sanctions

Ryan, watching your videos feels like i have someone on speed dial for "what the hell is going on today, " especially when news media of the conflict is nearly non existent. Thank you sir

There is no way these Russian conscripts are getting anything close to an effective rapid training. These guys are cannon fodder.
