Damn, that is some hardcore maintenance! That is a brilliant idea to hang the brush with the bristles pointing down.

This sort of info really is gold- setting yourself up for success (or at least pounding down a few speed-bumps in advance), soooo looking forward to April.
You mentioned a way that you trust testing a newly bought brush to see if it's a keeper? A bit of spring, a way the brush will act/react when full... should it act like what we see here, good point, no strays, etc? (Dunno if ink gets one reaction, water another... I've a few to test and new to this madness) Thanks for all.
