I faced a similar problem, had sold a vehicle in May end, RC expired and the dealer gave the car in custody of the buyer, still did not transfer the RC name. I came across this channel and this video and realised I am in risk. I went and pressurized the dealer to renew the RC. Now I am waiting for the new RC to come and will do the procedure as detailed beautifully in the video. When I faced a lot of pressure, I texted Thankachan John sir and he was quick to reply to my query. Though he was very busy and out of station, he called me and adviced me regarding what has to be done further and how to go about things. Such a wonderful person.

RC book എൻ്റെ പേരിലേക്ക് മാറ്റാൻ ആയി കൊടുത്തെങ്കിലും എൻ്റെ കൈയിൽ ഇതുവരെ ആയിട്ടും കിട്ടിയിട്ടില്ല. എന്നൽ പരിവഭൻ ആപ്ലിക്കേഷനിൽ എൻ്റെ പേര് ആവുകയും ചെയ്തു.. ഇപ്പൊൾ വണ്ടി കൊടുക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു. RC book എൻ്റെ കൈയിൽ കിട്ടാത്ത സ്ഥിതിക്ക് വണ്ടി കൊടുക്കാൻ നേരം എന്തക്കെ കരിയങ്ങൾ അണ് ചെയ്യണ്ടത്. മറുപടി പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു sir 🙏

Sir, ഞാൻ covid കാലത്ത് വണ്ടി വിറ്റിരുന്നു. വാങ്ങിയവർ അന്ന് RC മാറ്റാൻ കൊടുത്തു, covid ആയത് കൊണ്ട് ഓൺലൈൻ അപ്ഡേറ്റ് ആവാത്തത് കൊണ്ടാണ് എന്നാണ് പറഞ്ഞത്. പക്ഷേ ഇപ്പോഴും അത് മാറിയില്ല. വണ്ടി നന്നേ പോയതിനാൽ വണ്ടി scrap ചെയ്യാൻ വേണ്ടി ഞാൻ വണ്ടി തിരിച്ചു വാങ്ങിച്ചു. ഫിറ്റ്നസ് കഴിഞ്ഞ് രണ്ടുമാസമായി. 3000 fine ഉണ്ടെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു . അത് ഒഴിവാക്കാൻ എന്തെങ്കിലും വഴിയുണ്ടോ. ഞാൻ അന്വേഷിച്ചപ്പോൾ അറിഞ്ഞത് അദാലത്ത് എന്നൊരു സംഭവം govt ഇറക്കാറുണ്ട് ആ സമയത്ത് ഫൈൻ ഇല്ലാതെ RC cancel ചെയ്യാൻ കഴിയും എന്നാണ്.
ഇത് ശരിയാണോ അങ്ങനെയാണെങ്കിൽ എപ്പോഴാണ് ആ ദിവസം എന്നു പറയാമോ
