What’s your favorite training split? Is it Full Body? 🏋🏽‍♂️. Upper/Lower?💪🦵. Push/Pull/ 🤢. Push/Pull/Legs?🤮😂. Or something else?

Our favorite is Full Body. 😁

What’s so special about FB? The answer is actually SEVERAL things: Full Body lets us save time each week. It also lets us be time efficient in each of our workouts. And it gives us flexibility!

It lets us save time each week by getting our entire body trained in ONE day. We only need to go to the gym once to get EVERYTHING done.

On the other hand, how many days does Push/Pull/Legs take? It takes THREE days to complete only ONE rotation of the entire body. That’s a lot of time for one cycle. And if we have to commute to the gym, set up equipment, or warm-up, how much MORE time is PPL going to cost us?🤔

Full Body lets us be more time efficient by also letting us use things like Antagonistic Pairs: While you’re resting from ONE exercise, you can be doing the opposite one so that you’re getting MULTIPLE exercises done in the same time frame.

Can we do that with PPL? 🤔 Well, just consider what would happen if you tried to do one push exercise and during the rest, do another push exercise… 😂. It probably (definitely) won’t work very well.

Full Body also increases the flexibility of our schedule. If we miss a workout, we simply push it to the next day and you’re fine!

In contrast, what happens if we have to miss a workout on a PPL split? We have to move the entire cycle back. What happens if we have to miss today’s workout, can’t train tomorrow, but have to miss the day after that? 🤔 That’s when PPL shows how rigid it in when it comes to our schedule.

Based on those three things, and also more, our favorite split is Full Body! And if those points appeal to you, we think YOU should use full body too. What’s your favorite training split? Let us know in the comments!

I prefer PLP, but am currently trying out the Arnold method. I think full body is more for beginners and busy women. Nice nordic curl man!
