We're using a Focusrite 4i4 for our output and headphone monitoring from Abelton - out 1/2 goes to the vision mixer (Atem Mini) and the great thing about the Focusrites from 4i4 and up is that we can route the headphone output as out 3/4 and use that with the cue function in Ableton to give the broadcast audio engineer the option of soloing things in their ears without it affecting the output to the stream. It's the only way I've found so far to have that flexibility!

Awesome video Jake, the Klark Teknik DN9630 is something that I didn't know existed, it saves me from buying a Dante card which would cost double the price.
I am currently volunteering in a church that still has an analogue system (Allen and Heath pa20-cp) and they don't exactly have a big budget, so I'm looking to introduce the digital system with an X32 Rack, which will sit on the stage like a stagebox and eventually become the monitor mixer if we ever upgrade to a full X32 or even add on a 2nd X32 Rack.

Also good to know: dante is great and all but is NOT yet supported on the Apple Silicon platform so it will NOT WORK!

The GK-Music UltraPhones are great for hearing the mix in a live room. I've been using them for years

The DN9630 is what I've been using for my Mainstage keys rig. It's perfect.

Hey jake. Would you be able to tell me how can I toggle on the solo button for a single channel strip while mixing for livestream using Logic Pro X, WITHOUT it affecting the audio going to the main outs?

Optogate for 100+ USD instead of a cheap talkback microphone that has a built in switch? I don't get how you decide where to invest, is there an amount of money that needs to be spent at minimum?

Jake, you don't mention how you use the Faderport.

Good stuff as always Jake! Will the dn9630 also work with the aes50b port on the x32? Or is this specific to the Behringer Wing? Was looking through the Broadcast Mix Mastery course and couldn't find the answer...

This is great, but i've watched all your videos on the broadcast mix and we are trying to find the best solution for us. Is there anything you would recommend specifically for a PORTABLE church that doesn't really have the budget nor personnel to have a separate audio engineer? Is there a way to streamline the mix and not have such an extensive equipment setup? What would be ideal?

Hey Jake, this is great stuff. Question about monitoring: would it work well if you created an Aggregate device with DN9630 + headphone jack output? Send mains thru AES50, monitor thru headphone jack.

Hi, First I want to say that I love Churchfront, You guys do great work. I purchased the KT DN9630 based on your recommendation for our live feed mix and hooked it to the AES50 B output on our X32 and I am having issues with routing everything into Ableton or reaper. We do not own either software product as of yet and we are looking for mixing functionality only within the daw. I am sure this is a common problem faced by many in my position as I am not a sound engineer. I am head of sound and media for a very small church and we can't afford much and we especially can't afford a proper sound engineer to make these devices work for us. I have purchased most of our system out of pocket and I sort of wing it. Is it possible you could do a video specific to routing these 2 devices??
