This is the first time I've heard it said that apple cider vinger can "cause" problems with acid reflux. Do you mean heartburn? I used to have heartburn quite often, then I started the 2 tablespoons of vingar a day with water and my heartburn vanished! I think the stomach does not have enough acid to breakdown the food - and therefore you get heartburn; but when you have enough stomach acid, you won't get heartburn in the first place. Of course there may be an occasional case of heartburn, but that may be caused by a certain food that you probably should avoid, and or over eating?Pregnant women often suffer with heartburn throughout their pregnancy, but that doesn't mean they have or will get acid reflux; but after the baby is born - the heartburn is gone.

I used to eat salads with some sort of vinegar and oil. Lost no weight or appetite. Been drinking apple cider vinegar with water after a meal and it is helping control the appetite and am losing weight without changing my routine. maybe 1/2 lb per week.
