Thank you Karolyn for these tips. I'd love to live in a country where I'd have to worry about this, but Ireland isn't known for it's tropical temperatures, so it's not something I need to worry about too often. 😊
I love your work, you are very talented 🎉🎉🎉

I think a suction cupped sunshade for your back hatch would also be helpful to prevent the Sun on the cake

I love your videos. I’m learning so much from them and your designs are amazing 🤩. I want to experiment and see if a Swiss meringue or a Italian meringue butter cream mixed with sweetex will hold well in floridas heat. I can say this Italian meringue does hold well since it’s very popular in Dominican Republic and it holds well in the heat and humidity.

Thank you again for sharing. Love see your beautiful art while getting some great tips. Do people ask you to do table treats as well?

I use shortening and butter in my Swiss Meringue buttercream. I really keeps it stable. However now that I have left the business I no longer need to have large amounts of Sweetwx on hand so I am unable to use it. Smaller amounts are available on Etsy but they are extraordinarily expensive.

I use several Yoga mats folded for about a 1/2 an inch of cushioning on the floor either front or back of my vehicle so my cake has a shock absorber

I use a travel cake box so the cold cake stays more insulated on traveling

Hi Karolyn ! In the UK, we don't have "shortening". Do you know what I could use instead ? Thanks 🙂

I am living in a tropical island where it's always hot and I do not have ac in my house , how can I make my butter cream icing stable enough to hold up longer?

If it's an outdoor event, not a wedding, would you cover all tiers in fondant? Or you still would do some with icing ? Because my brother asked me to do one for this event in a park and I was thinking about doing it all covered in fondant to help it withstand some heat.
