I played it conservatively and bought one cash and don’t have to deal with the headaches of three. My friends temperament is more aggressive than mine, and he has the experience. S&P has historic returns of roughly 10% year over year. Whatever you have invested today will double every 7 years based on the history, and that’s not even factoring for if you keep adding money to that portfolio.

I would think building and operating big businesses has more drama and headache than running a real estate investment portfolio with property managers - although it’s a preference and style thing, but if we compare, running a real estate portfolio would be easier
