A man that took accountability and changed for the better

Ha... He internalized this situation and matured instantly. What a man. What a son.

As a nurse, I am so sorry that a fellow nurse said that to you. It doesn't matter who is paying, we treat all patients the same. However, I am glad you were able to use it for good.

His father worked for him and he returned the love by retiring his father. Amen

I had a similar awakening when my son was born. The second I looked at him and looked directly into my eyes and we stared at each other for a solid minute and a half and i swear he was telling me its time to get my shit together. From that day on I was on a mission and I haven’t looked back yet. Thatt baby boy saved me from myself and I will forever be grateful.

Instead of blaming everyone else, he internalized, accepted what he could change in the immediate situation and used his wisdom to become the man he is today. 💡👏 boyhood ➡️manhood

I almost lost my dad in April to a massive heart attack and I felt the same exact way. If I wasn’t home that morning, who knows what could’ve happened. That was most real grow the fuck up moment I’ve ever had in my life

I admire this man so much for a multiple of reasons. His wife and family are very blessed as he is too. Love you PBD!

Takes a truly good person to see truth in such a harsh remark. Happy to see this worked out like it did ❤

You can’t change the past, though you do get to accept it and learn from it. Your dad would want you to grow from that experience, and become stronger and wiser. You got it brother

Hospital staff need to realize that family and friends who are at the hospital when their loved one is in a crisis are terrified of losing someone they love. They are panicking and should not be treated like they’re demanding extra ketchup on their burger when they are begging for help. This kind of thing happens a lot more than people know.

That is love and responsibility combined in one defining moment.

A year ago I spent 10 days in the hospital and I was floored by how terrible it was. Your day depends on the head nurse you get and what kind of mood they are in!!
They routinely forgot my pain medication to make me feel the pain on purpose! I hope I never have to go in again.
