Since artists want things perfect, I feel like Jhin is eliminating the imperfections of each character to make his “canvas” (world) perfect.
Sona: She couldn’t talk = throat
Vi: Shes weak without her gloves = hands
Garen: His home is what means most to him = heart
Zed: He became blinded by power = eye

Jhin honestly had the best tease out of any champion. I remember all the fan theories around that time crafting ideas about if he was a nature champion until someone pointed out the idea that these are all blood and it’s just that Jhin sees the beauty in the massacres that he causes. It all just fit so crystal clear after that and it really was incredible. I’m so happy I was around for when this was coming out.

I remember I was still a kid when Jhin came out and I dead ass cried because I thought they weren't going to be playable anymore.

It took me forever, but I think it just dawned on me as to what this trailer meant.

Jhin sees death as an art form. When he makes a kill, he has to do it in the form of a performance, with a set tempo, rhythm, style and feel. I think that he sees each of these deaths as beautiful or ironic due to how each of the four were killed.

Vi's is simple, she was shot in the back. This could be a direct jab at her history of "betraying" Zuan and working in Piltover as part of the police force. Her choice was seen as a betrayal by (possibly) Jinx, DEFINATELY Ekko, and probably several other Zuanites, how else would you off a traitor than shooting them in the back?

Garen was shot through the heart. Everything that he is has to do with his heart and how deeply he cares for his country. He is called the heart of demacia for good reason. Seems a good place as any to shoot our Demacian poster boy.

Sona being the brilliant musician that she is, was shot through the throat. Often the source of beautiful music from most musicians, but for Sona it was ironic since he shattered the one instrument that she could never use.

Zed is a really tricky one, and I think that I probably have it wrong, but I would imagine that it is a cruel irony that in his journey with shen, he lost "sight" of his true path. That, or there might be some fun involved in Zed thinking he was hidden in the shadows, but never "saw" his death coming. I don't know I'm guessing here.

in any case, this was one of my favorite champion reveals ever done, and I wish there were more like it. all of Jhins promotional material, from the first trailer to the login screen was my favorite. I know its been like 2 years or something, but damn, this was a great champion release.
