Sanjay Jha is a joker to say the least. The moment he starts talking I switch to some other channel. His arguments are so sickening. After all he is the product of Congress party which opposes everything that Modi does - whether it makes sense or nonsense.

In 2018, Maldives president Ibrahim visited India. The aim of the visit was to revive the ailing Maldives economy. Like Srilanka, Maldives has borrowed money from China for one of the biggest Infrastructure project in the country- same playbook as that of Srilanka. With mounting debt and the threat of selling or mortgaging parts of the country, Ibrahim’s only hope was India. At that time, they even didn’t know how much debt they had incurred. So with the future of the country hanging in balance- India decided to step in and help. During the meeting, India declared - 100 billion dollar financial assistance(Pakistan has to pledge- every thing, to get just 4 billion dollar loan from world bank). Foreign reserve of Maldives is just under 800 million USD and GDP is 6 billion USD. So in effect they were getting financial aid of around 20 times their GDP !. Moreover India has agreed to extend the halted infrastructure project to 3 times of its size without any debt. That Is history. India has shipped huge cache of vaccines during the Covid crisis- when all the shipping lanes were closed and nobody was ready to ship. India mobilised their Navy to do that. Seven years later, we became smelly for these thankless racist fanatics. We have to put our foot down whenever human dignity is challenged. There is no place for racism in this world. This is serious.

Some time back Maldives shocked India by laying claim to the Indian territory of Lakshdweep Islands ( geographically contiguous to Maldives ).
Prime Minister, Smt Indira Gandhi, called the Indian High Commissioner, H E Dewan Brij Kumar IFS, to New Delhi for clarifications.
