XBOX SERIES X controller not syncing (How to fix) updated video in description for additional fix.

Updated for headset issues as well.

After the second time playing our new Xbox series X and the controller just wouldn't sync up. I finally was able to figure it our and wanted to share in case others need help with the same issue.

12-15-2020 headset will also disconnect and has issues reconnecting. Using a cable has helped but removing the batteries from the controller and cycling the power for the headset and controller has worked more regularly.

I had a similar problem where my controller vibrates, then turns off during the syncing process. My solution that worked is to click the sync button’s not at the same time but separate, and wait until they connects.. Also did a hard reset with the Xbox power source being removed to reconnect my controller!

Thank you! After returning a controller to best buy thinking it was a controller issue, I found your video and it worked. There's something fundamentally wrong with the Xbox X if it can't simply pair two controllers wirelessly. Regardless, thank you for the tutorial.

Had to step away for a bit and when I came back the controller was off (normal battery saver) pressed center button to turn it on and noticed no control of Xbox but it was paired. Did everything you said and it worked. Thank you.
