Animals will tell you if something is off, my dogs one day were barking at the wall. I saw nothing but was enough to move since then my little guys and Corso's are at peace. It's so weird that the cats are not acting up.

That first cat that walked by seemed slightly nervous, but it's not what I'd expect from evil spirits or a ghost. It's a barn house? She might just have squirrels or mice in the walls or attic, they can make quite a racket too.

Old houses sometimes make noises. I also live in an old house and sometimes when my neighbours are out noises come from their apartment. No ghosts or demons 😂
