Greetings from Canada! Whenever it’s time for my Wegovy injection, I watch this video. I probably don’t need to anymore but it gives me confidence that I’m doing it correctly. Thanks for making this video, it’s so thorough and clear.

For the ones wondering. Novo Nordisk launched Wegovy in the US in a disposable pen with a single dose, while in the rest of the world Wegovy is sold in Novo Nordisk's Flextouch pen with room for four doses or a month's supply. The US version seems so easy but a lot of waste plastic and more costly to transport (more volume), with the new pen, same size 4 doses. Of course is more an hassle than the disposable ones.

As I am traveling with two pens (and a cooling container), I collect all my used needles and put them back into the place where I took them from. I will get properly rid of them when I am home again. Took my first 1mg dose today morning. Up to now I did not have any side effects. But it is really nice to be able to eat only twice a day and not constantly think about food when you pass supermarkets or restaurants. Amazing really and I’ve lost already 6-7 kg despite being on a long vacation.

idk if this is just for people in the UK, but in america our pens already have the needle built in so you’ll want to watch a different tutorial

I was really nervous and have had it in the fridge since Friday, I found your video, had an idea already from the pack info leaflet, but following you made it so much easier. I did wonder about selecting the dose as it seemed to go on forever and I thought I had done it wrong. Anyway, its done now and thank you so much, I think I would have probably gone on struggling with fasting etc., were it not for my high blood pressure and fears of cardiovascular problems. As soon as I found out it lowers your risks I was in. I don't know if I want to raise my dose to the full and will just see how I do for the first couple of months. Thank you again.

When I turn the dose selector until I see the two dots displayed, and press the dose button, it squirts out quite a bit and I’ve been worried that a large amount of the medication is wasted when I do this. Is it completely necessary to do? There is a drop of liquid already at the tip of the needle just from putting it on and twisting it.

Should you see a change in the window where the liquid is after use? I have the pen with 4 weeks worth in it but i seen no difference in the window after the 1st use

I'm super confused about the priming part. I did exactly whats described in the video, but when i pressed the button after i put it on the priming setting with the 2 dots, a big squirt came out. Now im unsure if theres enough in the pen for 3 additional uses.
