Sorry to necro on the old vid but just got a 7900xt and DO NOT auto overclock it does almost (actually) nothing and the auto settings only let you OC core not core and mem and gives you no voltage control. n00b button at best.

Go manual on everything, set freqreuency target to ~3000 reduce the voltage slider to 1040-1055 range (lottery dependant), then set vram to 2664 or 2714 (depending on stability).

mine is stable in games and returning a 30, 300 timespy graphics score (higher than a stock 4080s) when at +15% power limit and hitting 28, xxx range (roughly a 4080 non super). So forget the +15% power limit imo and take the power saving for increased performance. obvs in game the gains are less impressive than the synthetics but the memory makes a big difference.

* note * your exact undervolt might be a little different * test all settings yourselves never take someone elses OC/UV as will work on your hardware only ever as a rough guide, but seriously people have gone further on the 7900xt this is after 2 days of stability testing on my system and happy with results. Hey Erock, I recently bought a rx 6800. I did it because of the 16gb of vram. But is 10gb enough for ultra 1440p gaming, because a guy I know wants to trade it with a rtx 3080. I’ve seen other tech channels say that the 3080 isn’t worth it because it’s more expensive, but in this case it isn’t.
