How efficient is the water cooler (built in to the unit I assume)? The tank does not look to be very big, and I would be concerned that the co2 tube would overheat, since my garage temperature can reach the upper 90s F in the summer, and rarely drops below the 80s in our FL winter. Also high humidity. Air conditioned workshop not currently an option for me, which is one of the reasons I've not gone down the budget co2 route.

You can build that riser form Cocobolo and it still be chipper that $500

Great review as always! One thing I'm curious about : Can you slide a longer peice of matierial (let's say 1/4 inch acrylic) under the P2 to engrave/cut a smaller design on a part of it when you don't have the riser?

I was considering buying a larger more industrial style machine, but I might switch to this instead; if the treadmill extension is as good as I hope.

I'd like to know of any limitations with that; can it work in conjunction with the active z height adjustment? For example to engrave a skateboard, which is long but also curved?

Hi, thanks for the vid! It seems there is more charcoal with the p2 when cutting compare to other machine. What are your thoughts on the matter? That can is more of a problem when you want to engrave cut.. can you do photo comparison between two machines on that matter? Thanks in advance and keep doing great reviews!

I do like the riser, but heck does it open a space for the laser beam to get out…

Great review, Ryan! What a machine, I decided to cancel an order for a diode laser I ordered and went for the P2 instead. Thanks for your honest feedback as always and in case you see this comment.. Any chance you're going to stuck up on these Lego style aluminum sprues again? Been checking your shop for those for the last couple months hoping to get a bunch. :)
