Great job on your description on this unit, like the idea that u used your notes, rather than flying by the seat of your pants, great job!

Yamaha seems like they listen to their utv customers if only they would listen to the people who buy grizzlys

I love the looks of this! I have a 2021 XTR-4, and one of the biggest complaints that I have about it is the lack of storage/trunk space. This will definitely be a huge improvement over the previous models. I also hated trying to get in the back seats, I'm glad that they fixed that!

We have a 2022 Rmax and love it but we just bought a Talon X-4 last spring, And I will say I wish the Rmax had the 6 speed that is in the YXZ. Because the transmission in the Talon is so nice and creates a better riding experience for me when switching between gears.

Happy to see the great fit and finish in the interior! Leaps, bounds and ages ahead of the general. Maybe all these companies doing color displays and center screens will force Can-Am to actually put the effort into matching them. Competition is a great thing! Only thing I didn’t like about the rmax is the upright seating position with the short height doors, really made me feel like you were sitting on the machine instead of in it. Aside from that really liked it

I like it, full cab with a option would be awesome option...

The rear differential is an essential improvement. I LOVE my Rmax2 but the first axle when out of it at 1300 miles and I don't do jumps. Pavement turning produces INSANE torque through the rear axles. Turf mode will likely solve this issue.

happy to see they kept the previous model for now and called it a compact. Recently will be doing review videos for my local dealer, any tips of advice is appreciated

I watch a lot of shows on YouTube dealing with Sxs’s, I think you guys on dirt trax and snow trax do the best overall. Thanks for all the information and usefulness of machines you preview.

I like the looks. The only problem I have and it’s more me is it’s to wide for some trails on that are on the state forest. They are a 64 inch max width. That’s in PA.

The answers all the problems with the original now compact rmax 4. We had one and reviewed it thoroughly a couple of years ago. we ultimately got rid of it due to the poor rear suspenion in our opinion. We absolutely loved the machine for its power, front end looks and front seat interior automotive like quality. That being said the rear seats over the rear axle made the ride quality for the rear passengers pretty brutal, my kids always complained how much they were thrown around back there. even without rear passengers the limited rear suspension travel due to the design was obvious. this new model is the ticket. You do sacrifice space in garage with the added length but the ride quality and better suspension is well worth it IMO plus its still not as long as other 4 seat models from the competition and cant beat the quality from this Yamaha. Aside from the center engine design which does make it a bit difficult to service this machine is a winner and if we ever add a sxs to the stable again this will be the one.

I’m glad they are keeping the old style. For now anyways!

oh man i almost want to sell my commander max. i think Yamaha killed it!! as long as the interior has no NVH like previous it will be a solid machine. hardest thing to compete with canam is level of accessories that can am has. i see a flip up windshield and some box mounts so its probably got all i need. i even like simple things it has like a handbreak then find it odd it dosn't have sonething simple like outside door handles.

Any changes to the Viking for 2025? looking to pull the trigger on one but want to see if the 2025 will have any changes

Its about time they make the sports model akin to the viking 6. Where the motor is under the bed and not the rear passenger seats like the old rmax and honda pioneer.we now get a working bed and second row seating and reduce passenger heat at their feet and seat. Now we dont have to chose a bed or carry more people. if they can put a 1000cc or 850cc motor in the viking and viking 6 with turf mode we would have pure bliss in Yamaha's lineup of ATVs and UTVs. Just need a 1000cc v twin in a grizzly and make a 2 up version.
