Somewhat recently, I took a solo roadtrip from Brooklyn to Atlanta. I really just needed a good biscuit or two. Here are the events that unfolded.

your videos feel more than just mundane vlogs. you weave anecdotes and idioms so brilliantly that at the end I always feel quite satisfied (and not procrastinating as I'm want to do). your dates are always fulfilling and at the same time educational (your sketchbooking are treasures and inspiring). Thank you for taking us to Wakanda. The aquarium was cool, though zoos and aquariums are generally a no go for me. They have some positives, but commercialization has always been counter-productive and quite honestly cruel to many animals. I have lots of Kesalt videos to catch up to, off I go.

I love your simplicity. It has alot of impact with a few shapes and colours. I am primarily working with graphite now after years of colour oil painting but watching you sketch makes me want to get my colour pencils out again 😊 Thank you for taking me along on your road trip...so many interesting places to see. I am not a fan of aquariums myself. I understand the educational aspects and preservation thing but I would rather those animals had a natural life away from us humans. Great video, thank you 🥰

I just found your channel and I’m so glad I did! Your vlogs are so beautiful and I love seeing your art process. Your use of colour and motion and composition is incredible! You’ve made me inspired to try something new with my coloured pencils.

I also felt a bit underwhelmed by The Secret History; I think it’s been overhyped. I did enjoy the prose style, but the characters and plot were a bit flat. I still don’t really understand what was going on with the other students, other than rich people ennui. But hey, as you said, maybe that was the point! It was written a while ago - it would be interesting to see how Donna Tart would have approached the same project in 2023.

I actually fell off of reading the secret history :< I think by the end, I wasn’t sure where things were going and it was SO long. But the way she writes is very immersive which I appreciated. i know how u feel about the beluga tank. i use to live in atl. there is another tank from my understanding in the back that they can swim between. also belugas in the wild often spend the winter months trying to keep breaks in the ice from freezing over. so they typically live in a break in the ice for part of the year when a good chunk of their range is in a sheet of ice. in that time they typically cant go far from that spot because they need to breath. not justifying the small habitat, im just saying that size in winter wouldn't be completely unnatural. animals can adapt. in summer time however their range can be pretty large.

Lovely! The murals were gorgeous, the aquarium mall vibes, and “croissant!”😂 I feel the same conflicting emotions about zoos as well. I rarely go if ever and it’s just for our kids when we do. Most animal exhibits leave me feeling deflated and depressed. But that’s just me🫠
Hats off to you for making the drive by yourself. I’m kind of a weakling in the long road trips department. We make a 9 to 11 drive from Ohio to Connecticut multiple times a year and I have divide it with my husband. I can make it 3 hours tops and then I get stir crazy and must stretch my legs. Ugh.
