Huh? This policy is not new-it was implemented over a year ago. In fact, since this policy was adopted FINA has completed rebranded and isn’t even referred to as FINA anymore. It’s “World Aquatics” now…and this is VERY old news.

The physical differences between males and females start before birth. Allowing competitors who start life as male, but transition to female before 12 should still compete with other genetic males - or in an open division.

Should be done for ALL SPORTS. Shouldnt have ANY age limits. ALL biological males should be banned from competing in biological womens sports.
