It actually doesn't drive like a boat 🚢

I own a 2021 TLX tech package. Yes, on paper it's heavy but the engine and trans are tuned for low end torque so you won't feel sluggish off the line.

Also sh-awd pushes you around corners beautifully. My only complaint is that the power feels a little under at high speeds (like 80+ mph). But it still gets the job done.

The people who complain about this car have never driven it. Dollar for dollar, this is the best value in the market. Everyone will compare it to a BMW but that will always be $10k more when comparably equipped with features.

Weight on paper does not equal real world feel and putting around town. I love my TLX. I can't even imagine what the type S is like!!

Mike, I am 6' 5" so really appreciate you making a point of giving your impressions of seat comfort, leg room, etc., for us tall guys. Keep up the great work.

I'd like to see honda touch screen. Also, a full redesign with a larger trunk would be nice. Like more like 16 cubic ft. I always appreciate seeing the Mike Danger fit being 6'5" helps me know if I even need to bother looking.

Still no touchscreen and it weighs/drives like a boat especially when you make a wide turn. It will sadly continue to get smoked by its German and sibling (Lexus IS 350 and Infiniti Q50) competitors in drag races.

Nonetheless, this car is soooo gorgeously built inside out with so many features for your money. It looks far better than the other two Japanese competitors with its sharp designs. Not to mention the high resale value and eye capturing presence on the road.

It is a fun, daily commuting car with competitive leg and head room in the second row.

Good job, Acura!

I like the redesign and the oval exhaust tips on the regular A Spec, which I was not a fan of the more rectangular tips that they had

Another great job by Mike Danger!! I go back and forth on the A-Spec or the Type-S, saving money is great but then so would being able to say you got the turbo V6!

Not bad for 60k in the SH-AWD V6 model (At least in the 2023 model). Thanks Danger!!

Confused at what Acura did again exactly? As a previous 3G TL Type-S owner, the TLX had too many downsides performance, infotainment and practicality wise considering the price. This refresh doesn't fix any of that. A shame because the TLX at least looks very good. Ended up getting a Stinger instead and I don't regret it one bit.

According to the salesperson at my local Acura dealer, no ones buying the the TLX. The Integra is selling much better though. We kind of know why but can’t put a finger on it. For me, it’s kind of weird to have such a long vehicle but the back seat space was so cramped even though I’m kind of short.

The review I was not ready for.. I miss my TLX 😢.. had so much fun with the A-Spec V6.. Unfortunately, it was totaled in an accident. Would love to get another one, but the auto market is ridiculous!! Maybe in the next year or so. Great review by the way!!

Still no Micah Muzio? Is he still with KBB?

I love my 2021 TLX, but the only thing I would upgrade for at this point is more rear seat space. Oh well

Another KILLER review from Mike Danger. Thanks, Mike!

If they haven’t addressed any of the major problems (fuel economy, infotainment controls and build quality) then this refresh is virtually meaningless. Acura is living in the dark ages when they could do token cosmetic upgrades for their mid-cycle bump.

The thing I like about Mike is he’s a big dude so if he can fit in it then I can fit in it too lol

The base TLX has the engine that the 11th generation Accord should have gotten as top of the line engine. I wonder why Honda decided that nobody wanted that engine.
