imagine within 10yrs 100ft above roads theres a traffic of these things, im thinking of hacking a 25min drive into only a 10min drive, imagine the increased productivity.

those blades tho, increasing blade size should give the vehicle extra load capacity. and put some shields on them, birds & air debris hitting the propellers are enough to bring your ride down. with you in it.

This Jetson craft could be made SO MUCH BETTER. BEHIND THE PILOT FROM BOTTOM TO TOP a stack of lithium ion batteries affording an hour of range with 34" propellers with axial flux motors of 30hp affording a total 120hp to lift that many batteries for an hour or more of flight time. The over all structure could remain the same with a crush pack of one foot of styrofoam under the pilot seat to let the pilot's spine remain intact on a hard landing with air foil shaped motor struts out to the motors for a 20mph gain in speed without turbulence. Also a flight simulator pilot training device to let the pilot attain 25 hours in type before flight with an instructor pilot showing errors of management before flying. Possibly doubling the cost but letting the neophyte live to fly another day.
