I have a tattoo on the lower left side of my back of three roses with the saying 'You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have'. I got that for my battle with kidney cancer almost 7 years ago when I was 34. I'm down a kidney but I'm still going strong.

When Def Jam was making Nova go broke for them making her videos, she was also assisting a videographer shoot commercials. She knew she could shorten the staff down to 1 to 5 people. Fun fact, Nova shoots music videos for other artists.

I have a tattoo that I got that matches with my ex wife, we had a kid together and she cheated and decided that the family didn't need to be together, so now it is a representation of the strength I've gained from going through such hell, and as a representation that the most important thing in my life is my daughter, I would never cover it because no matter how much pain I feel by seeing it, I know that I would not be who or where I am without it having happened.
