No matter what I'm playing, Divinity Original Sin, D&D, Pathfinder, Dragon Age, I always love playing Dwarfs. I LOVE taking hit after hit after hit and still be standing.

Lost Omens Character Guide has some very good feats too. Avenge in Glory (Lvl.1) and especially Heroes' Call (Lvl. 9) are good and just spot on for what I think a dwarf should have. Really good job man, I really like your videos!

Ancestry feats are so useful and flavorful. I only wish we could get more of them at low levels — choosing just one first level ancestry feat is too hard.

On Boulder Roll:
Take 2 actions to attempt to step into enemy's space if they are your size or smaller. They move 5 feet away unless they attempt a Fortitude save against your Athletics DC.
Critical Success: they block your Step and take no damage.
Success: They block your Step and take bludgeoning damage equal to your level plus your Strength modifier.
Failure: They move away from the space you Stepped into, and take damage as a success.
Critical Failure: Same as a Failure.

My personal DM fiat: I would add the Attack trait to this action, and on a Critical Failure, it would double the damage taken.

For Pathfinder lore, there's the Venture-Captains channel, which sadly only seems to uploads a video every 3 or 4 months, and the Black Dragon Gaming channel, which has a 5-minute tour series for a bunch of Golarion's nations among others.
Also Paizo's channel has the Pathfinder Friday streams, in which sometimes they talk about lore,

I missed the heritages and feats from Character Guide, some of them are really cool and they have a lot of flavour (like a LOT of Human feats that are avaliable depending of your ethnicity). My favorites stuff in the book is the Goblin Monkey heritage and Vivacious Gnome heritage.

man I played a death warden barbarian dwarf in a converted curse of strahd campaign and let me tell you, the necromancy resistance pays off if you are in the right setting for it. Pathfinder has a lot of nasty undead and spellcasters that have nasty death magic so even if you're not in a vampire's castle you are going to get some mileage out of some of these specific resistance every now and then, provided your character fits your setting, which I believe is good mechanically aswell as from a roleplaying perspective so I'm all for that.
And yeah, speed 20ft is brutal, if you get further penalties from armor (without the unburdened iron feat for example) or spells or difficult terrain you are a literal tortoise.

Nonat1 good that you didn't regurgitate what is written in the hand book. Really good place for D&D/Pathfinder lore is AJ Pickett's youtube channel. Keep it up Nonat!

Loved the video Nonat. I'm curious, when you get to Goblin, could you cover the Bouncy Goblin and Unbreakable-er Goblin feats from the Lost Omens Character Guide? Those two combo into my favorite feat set up ever. You turn your Goblin into a Superball. It's amazing.

lost omen character guide also has a ton of ancestry feats

57% of Nonat's viewers don't subscribe. Cue Sarah McLachlan! In the arms of an Angel . . .

Hey, did you know you can sponsor a YouTuber for less than the cost of a cup of coffee? I mean, yeah, Subscribing is free, after all

I do wish there were more heritages that were ‘wizard’ friendly (wizards, witches, wizards, etc) for dwarves.

the only problem I have with Dwarves is how most people play them. Gruff, loves Ale/beer and lots of beard focus.

For Defy the Darkness where are you getting the idea that a level 6 Darkness spell will still "blind" a 5th level Dwarf with this feat? Heightening Darkness only affects Light spells of same level or lower, not characters. Having Greater Darkvision makes you unaffected by ANY level Darkness effect (that doesn't say otherwise). It could be a 9th level heightened Darkness and it wouldn't affect said Dwarf, just their Light spells.

A dwarf is basically "Hi... I'm here to make your meatshield not only pathetic but I'm going to hit as hard as mountain, yes I am short but you'll be shorter after I squash ya flat."

One advantage to boulder roll...it isn't an attack and does not add to MAP
