Chibiusa talking to Rei and her grandpa is definitely a homage to the classic anime where it is established that Rei and Chibiusa are very close, as Usagi says "they get along so well because they are both so mean" it's in the infamous episode where Chibiusa befriends a dinosaur in case you were wondering

I'm so happy you enjoyed Cosmos. I was so glad they ironed out the visual and musical issues of the first three seasons and ended the franchise with my personal favorite arc done spectacularly. First decade of Crystal had me SCARED lmao

The adaptation of Stars arc from the manga was long overdue. I was filled with joy that it was being animated at all. The stars manga is a better arc than the 90s anime stars. The wedding scene was gorgeus especially the last scene of usagi and sailor moon with Mamoru's word. This movie was the last piece for me because I admire sailor moon as a hero. Okay so sailor Neptune's attack is actually called submarine violin tide as a little hint to her violin skills, not submarine violent tide. I personally love the homage to the original 90's version as well

To explain, it seems there are 3 timelines all happening actively the moment Sailor Moon defeats Beryl. Usagi's present, Neo Queen Serenity's future, and Sailor Cosmos' future.

I was hoping the manga would explain some of the time travel small lady does, and how it may affect her timeline. Or if it splits into an alternate universe, when small lady travels back, and further change happening from Usagi travelling to the future. 26:27, and Sailor Pluto traveling back in time, and then reincarnating etc.

Anyway, i think if it did, that would be why Chibi-Usa mom wouldn’t have knowledge of the same battles, Eternal Sailormoon does. But if it all happens to the same Usagi, it saddens me to see what happens to her, by the time she is Sailor Cosmos.

Definitely a missed opportunity to have bring back an original voice actor from the DiC/Cwi dub to voice Sailor Cosmos, also having Moon Pride be in the ending credits to movie part 2

I liked it, but MY GOD ITS SO DEPRESSING!!! I think I havent sobbed this much over a movie since ages..
But I musst say, personally I wouldnt have minded if the Movie was a 3 Parter, so that certain things have more time to sink in and we could have had longer fights.

I was not ready to see what happened to Mamoru when I saw the movie, because that was not shown in the anime. Not even mentioned until far later either! I was traumatized!

at 26:15 mark I think that the reason Neo Queen Serenity did not know what was going on in the past is because Eternal Sailor Moon's Present isn't Neo Queen Serenity's past anymore. the past had changed.
