The ending of this scene was the hardest I laughed in quite some time.

It is my head cannon that Berdly's plan would've worked just fine, but Noelle chocked him for so long that the Queen was able to find them.

Just think about it...You riding a farris wheel while this song plays and its night, seeing neon lights all around, That smell of the carnival, the screams of kids riding on fast rides, you can see the stars, and its warm outside, that the smell and warmth reminds you of the nostalgia days

When Noelle talked about being a horror fan to cope with the horrors of reality, I felt that. Also, the bit of her growing wings and flying away, plus the GB synths in this track, had me feeling that toby is a fan of Link's Awakening. Probably my favorite part of the entire game (and there's a lot of moments to contend with, so).

when noelle noticed that susie's tail--despite having been angry that her tail was pointed out--was wagging i just about died. I love the trope where a character's body features betray their outward emotions by showing people how they really feel, like purring or tail wagging. 1000/10

Even though Susie is still completely oblivious to Noelle's affection for her, I'm glad that at least she's able to recognize that Noelle likes her and wants to be with her more.

Also, RIP Berdly (in a comedic sense in this case)

Detaching the material from its context, this song really does feel like you're in a cliff above a nearby city (or above a city), it's night and you're just taking everything in, all your experiences you've had and all the experience you will encounter in the future. It really is a wonderful song, contemplative and optimistic-sounding

Now with the song in context, it's a very sweet moment between two characters. A shame Noelle was convinced that it was a dream as opposed to some form of real life escapism/pretend with her classmates

This scene was so sweet!!!! And I love how natural yet succinct the dialogue was written, like it made me reminisce about the awkwardness but innocent sweetness that comes with having a crush.

The best thing about this scene is that we finally get to see this relationship be explored, not hidden, not pandered, just is. They become the Alphdyne of this chapter, hell, they're the same dynamic of tough "meanie x cute shy nerd" and I'm all for it.
But this time, we do get to see their love fully evolve, unlike in Undertale where we only got snippets of how they interacted.
