Final effect looks great! Transforms the environment to a very different mood. Also lots of useful building blocks for making shaders in general. Could be applied to a different setting like waves on the beach, or a different material like snow and moss. Good work!

was wondering how I could modify this so the "pools of water" could have color in them? as opposed to just the rims

Can you please mention what calculation we should do for the AO, I'm really not sure how wetness affects AO
