Perfect role for Pharrell (”P”). “Established” is subjective. P solidified his presence and iconic status in the culture for many decades. His music translates to fashion. His artistic creativity is diverse and inclusive. I also didn't love every look, but most people don't love “every” look that comes down the runway. I loved his play on the Damier pattern and horizontal stripes. My favorite looks were the various damier matching short sets especially the one in mint green with the high-top sneakers that had some sort of metal embellishment. Lastly, the choir gave me chills and brought tears of “Joy” to my eyes. A black man being unapologetically black on the streets of Paris, on the Pont Neuf bridge, at the LV show is beyond my imagination. Virgil is smiling down from above with approval. Amazing first show. Great recap and discussion questions.

Rihanna and rocky were grungy 2000's, bey and jay were giving rich parents. This is one of the few looks I loved on bey with kjmoody as stylist. Kim, megan and zendaya looked good, very fitting the LV core of this collection

My City of Paris!!! The fact that this happened on Pont-neuf is incredible. The joy, the beauty, simplicity and genuine vibes and emotions from the models, Pharrell the clothes is what i was left with after this show. Bravo! That ending with the Voices of Fire choir just blew me away ❤ also that sweet moment of P hugging his wife and kids, bringing the staff who worked hard in the last year+ with him. God that was amazing🥹🙏🏾!!
The fact that all these people also got a jay-Z and Pharrell mini concert right after? Iconic and magical ❤️‍🔥
People say oh why choose Pharrell as new LV Men fashion creative director? This is why. Those big fashion corporations don’t choose that lightly.

Loewe just did the pixel look, so I felt it was a little unoriginal - fashion does recycle, it’s just as recent. I appreciate Pharrell seemed to miss all the headlines about Quiet Luxury and went big on logo, it’s a testament that he is operating in his own way and who cares. Love that everyone showed up and showed out for him. It was fun, I will def be picking up some of these pieces.
