Imagine being the Boomers and having to watch as the courier just slowly walks towards you, tanking artillery shells the whole time with basically little to no effort made to dodge them and then once inside your gates he just starts gunning you all down. He's just a horror movie villain at that point

It would be legitimately terrifying to see a man walking slowly towards my base as we light him up with artillery, just shrugging off each shell as he rapidly jabs himself all over with medical syringes.

To be fair, walking up to The Boomers is probably the biggest power play you can make in FNV.

Fallout new Vegas as Victor
-Can only use weapons the cowboy perk affects
-Can only wear a cowboy hat and dusters
-You have to buy all the implants from the new Vegas clinic, the old world blues auto doc, and keep all the artificial organs so as to be as much machine as possible
-You also need to have a shovel to dig up graves because the courrier might be in one
-Side with Mr. House

Love how this challenge is basically "by walking around like a normal person". Who jumps and runs everywhere irl? The true immersion experience

Considering it took me 40 minutes to walk from the Abandoned BOS shelter to the Gun Runners (I was laden down by the gold from the Sierra Madre) I can't imagine how horrendous this must have been

Can you beat Fallout: New Vegas as Patrick Bateman? You can only wear suits. Your weapons are Fire Axe, 9mm Pistol, Chainsaw and Knife. Kill Benny in his room to recreate the famous scene from the movie. Get the Yes Man ending because a true sigma male only cares for himself.

Honestly a pair of sunglasses and some cyborg upgrades and this would be a perfect “Can you beat Fallout as the Terminator” run.

Can’t imagine being a Boomer and watching man walk through the artillery, yelling if we’re hitting him or not, watching him get thrown and rag dolled only to rise up from behind rubble and keep slowly walking at us.

In my most recent play through of New Vegas, I’m taking my sweet time checking every nook and cranny for anything I might have never found before. So far I learned that theres a hotel to the left of the Nipton that has 4 dead ncr soldiers for easy early game disguises, and on the bottom shelf directly in front of you as you enter the general store theres a weapon repair kit. Nipton in general is packed with good early game gear. I know that so far these are only minor finds so far, but given the fact I knew about neither for years, I think it may be helpful

I can only imagine what the Boomer spotters must have felt seeing a guy slowly walk towards base, get hit almost directly with several artillery shells, and just continuing to walk towards you. Like something out of a Terminator movie.
