There is exponential amount of people in the comments chanting that this is fake and the counter is going double speed. You people are very incorrect. His name is Eli Bishop and he double claps every arm movement. He hits his wrist with his other wrist, and then he hits his fingertips with his other wrist. So then you can have two claps per arm movement. So this is not fake and the counter is correct on how many claps he has in one minute. If you look up Eli bishop on YouTube, you will find other videos and he can show his technique. I would suggest going to the one with around a couple million views by the slow Mo guys. Have I proved you yet?

It's not fake. His wrists hitting together is what makes the third clap for each movement, so all the people saying the audio's not even in sync with his claps are fools.

I set it to 0.25 when you can actually count the claps. I counted 10 and compared the counter number, its exactly twice as fast (240-260 claps were only 10 real claps). Congratulations, you clapped 487.5 times in a minute, try better next time :)

I get that he is using his wrists to clap, but I honestly don't think that should count as claps. Claps should be sounds caused by the hands, not the wrists.

It's not fake. Or, at the very least, not for the reasons many of you are saying. If you slow the video down, it does look like the count is moving faster than his hands. And it may be, however, for every movement of his hands he claps twice. It's called wrist clapping - look it up. And as far as can be told, it is legit. If you must, count the sound wave blips that show up when noise is made. the count added in is based off of that.

For everyone who is saying that this is fake, the only justification is that he is also clapping with his wrists and not only with his hands. This allows him to do loads of claps while not moving his hands that fast. As illegitamate as it may seem, it appers legal. He did not get disqualified or anything so...

I clearly understand that people think this is fake but HE'S WRIST CLAPPING PEOPLE, EVERYONE JUST SHUT UP! If your on PC, slow the video down to 0.25 speed if you watch closely it'll become clear that he's wrist clapping, which in order to do so he slides his wrists together creating friction, and friction at high speeds = SOUND, or in this case, clapping. And this people is TRUE, if anybody posts another comment, mocking Eli Bishop and how he's 'fake' clapping, they will be reported to Youtube under false abusement.

The background is completely frozen. He recorded the background and than uses a green screen to make it seem like the background is at normal speed so he can speed it up. And the background is fuzzy like the camera was moving when the background was taken .
