2:48 That new train line has a major flaw in it that could cause traffic jams for trains. When it comes into the main station from the Berlin area or heading to it, it has to zig-zag between two sets of points from the chosen platforms.
I would HIGHLY recommend a new branch line from the rail link between the main station and the park station to avoid this, or switch around the platforms it uses.

The new district looks lovely. Personally, I would have preferred foot traffic near the shops. And moved the parking on the outside. That way, there are space for more people in front of the stores. They can have cafes or other activities outside, and cars can still park nearby.

I could be mistaken but I believe when selecting the operating district for the fire station on the island, you didn’t actually get birdsong mills, just Emerson Croft! Great video biffa!

If you still need a name for the new French/German district: there’s an area where they speak both languages (around Strassbourg) and they have a „national dish“ called tarte flambee or German Flammkuchen. Maybe you could call it Flammbourg or Flammburg?

I have to say that the German package is really a realistic representation of reality (this reminds me imaginatively of Berlin).
For the courtyards, you bring the path correctly. Here in Prague it's standard. It's just that parking lots are not that common - you see a playground in the middle and a bit of parking around. So basically everywhere on the resident square is mandatorily benches trees and a park.

Keep working. Things are goin so smoothly.

As the small island with the new station looks like a tea leaf, I suggest it be called:
Bergamot Island

And the area across from it:
Bergamot Shores

8:02 I think you forgot to assign the fire station to Birdsong Mills, Biffa!

um Biffa, you left a tree blocking the parking lot for the city hall
name the area "Cobblebrew Corners"
cobble from cobblestone which lots of European areas have,
brew and corners because of all the corners

Dear Biffa.

Right away at 0:19 i noticed something i would LOVE to see changed.
The river waterlevel is VERY LOW and/or the embankment is VERY HIGH.
It once again highlights a problem cities 2 has inherited from cities 1 and its not 100% the games fault.
Most people play most of the time with a somewhat top down view and often miss how massive some slopes and height differances are.
This combined with the game not always being consistant with the height-width ratio's created a recipe for immersion breaking parts in otherwise great cities.
The same for those VERY TALL queywalls surrounding the universities.
Ive seen this with many youtuber who play this game.

My favorite part had to be from 00:00 to 32:14 the only thing I didn’t like was when it ended

In my opinion as an Italian i think it would be fun if CS2 made a Italian region pack

I don't know why, but I want to call the transit island Transitea Island or some variation of that. I don't remember if the river has a name or not, but if it does it could be Transitea on the "Insert River Name" or something. That just popped into my head while I was watching.

If there is any "flaw" in games like this it is that the land tends to be very very flat. no hills or any terrain featured you need to build around. Most of Europe is not dead flat.

Might be good to add a bus line that only stops at all your major bus stations through the whole city to create connectivity between zones (kind of like a greyhound express route). Love the way the build is turning out!

While I love the video, I do have one question. Why do you have trees in the way of the Town Hall car park? Sorry, I'm not sure if I missed something in the commentary. I like the idea of the trees "out the front" but not how they block off access to the car park.

22:54 honestly, I would see the town hall street very well with parking on both sides or as an avenue, with a one-way street with parking, or a square, as if to give importance to the building in the course of the city's history
P.s. nevermind, i didn't saw the pedestrian street, i was thinking a place like a plaza that can be use for weekly market place, today was difficult to see all video at once

losing the trees and the parking when inserting bus stops drives me so nuts 😢 so glad i’m not the only one struggling with it!

Yes, remember European roads were built around buildings but American buildings were built around roads
