This is one of my favorite Oscar moments b/c they so rarely give Oscar’s to women for comedy’s. She so sweet and flustered bc no one thought she’d win, including her. Her performance is in the top 3 best comedy performances by women. She’s the hero of that film, that character steals every scene (in the best way). She’s also flustered because she trips in the stairs slightly & that was her biggest fear. It’s not like she face plants, just a hiccup & she recovers beautifully. Thank you for cutting that part.

I was so happy when the Moonlight/La La Land thing happened at the Oscars because it finally showed people EXACTLY what would happen in the event an incorrect winner was announced and it put to bed the ridiculous urban legend that Jack Palance drunkenly gave it to the wrong person. She 100% deserved this award.
